Very, very nice staff and boss. Very tasty Indian food, traditional and very nicely decorated. Was very full, so no wonder and rightly so, still a mega service. Couldn't say what could be done better. Definitely not the last time there, clear recommendations. TOP!!!

We came here today because of the high Google rating. And I have to be honest: absolutely deserved! We received a warm and friendly welcome. The food arrived quickly and tasted perfect. The waiters were extremely friendly and always had a smile ready for us. You just felt very welcome. The only point of criticism: I found the starter platter for 2 people a bit too expensive for what was on it at just under 10 €. But that's just a small downer in an otherwise perfect visit. I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone. (Attention, there are hardly any parking spaces in front of the shop)

Very delicious Indian food. Curries are served with both rice and Naan. Gulab Jamuns were good too. Service was friendly. Portions could have been a tad bit better.

Fantastic restaurant for some authentic and delicious Indian food and drinks!! This was one of the best Indian restaurants I have ever been to in Germany...really really good. The food was very tasty, fresh and came in good portions. We had ordered many things and everything turned out great. The dishes from chicken, lamb, cottage cheese (paneer) were all delicious. The service was very warm and the staff was extremely friendly. They were happy to cater to our requests. The restaurant has a large indoor seating area...with a pleasant and colourful décor. Highly recommended!

Was there for two with reservation for the first time. Very nice ambience, super friendly and attentive waiters. The food and drinks were quickly at the table and very well presented. In terms of taste everything was excellent, price / performance ratio was absolutely top. We'd love to come back :)

We went here for the first time today and we really loved it. Super nice staff, you were asked again and again if you wanted something, if everything was okay, etc. Really not intrusive, but just nice and courteous, even though the whole restaurant was full. Food was very plentiful and totally delicious, free starters and schnapps included at the end. You can also choose between different degrees of sharpness, whereby spicy was not as spicy as I thought nächste next time I'll be very spicy We'll definitely be back, highly recommended.

We have seldom eaten so much & so well. The atmosphere is cozy and the service incredibly friendly. There is plenty of space, especially at the back of the restaurant. We would definitely become regulars if we lived in Bamberg. But as soon as we end up here again, the restaurant is the first thing we will head for!

This place is amazing - Delicious traditional Indian food accompanied by the nicest staff! We come here regularly, always try different dishes and it's always amazing! There are a lot of vegetarian / vegan options as well. Thanks again for a nice evening! 😊

Inconspicuous from the outside, great from the inside, especially in the rear area. The food is delicious, made with great spices, fresh herbs and lots of love. The staff is very attentive and polite. It's a shame that we don't have such a great Indian restaurant in Düsseldorf.

Really delicious dishes and professional servers. They're all kind and warm as one would expect Indian restaurant to be. You'll find some dishes are spicy hot while others are not. I ordered lamb and rice. My wife ate chicken. One can choose to sit inside or outside. Within the restaurant the sitting arrangements are nice and well lit. The space outside is attached and looks good too. You won't find free WiFi here but I think having one should be good. The cost of food are moderate and service times or wait times are very fair. There's a bathroom and the environment or the neighborhood is about 19 minutes on foot away from city center of Bamberg where one finds historical sites or walk by the water. I'll recommend this place based on my experience and interaction, considering the options to do lot more in the surrounding.

Good place for Indian food in Bamberg!!

We were there for lunch spontaneously! Excellent! Great lunch specials and everything delicious! A few weeks later we were there for dinner on Sunday evening, also very spontaneously but everything worked out great with one table! Food was very tasty, staff very friendly! The waiting time wasn't long either! We will definitely be back and can only recommend it!

We had very tasty food. The waitresses were all friendly and courteous. Top service! There was even salad, bread and various dips for the starter and a schnapps on the house to finish off. In the restaurant itself there is a pleasant atmosphere, it is furnished with attention to detail. I would make a reservation in advance though, it always seems to be pretty well attended. We would love to come back.

Very friendly staff. Our drinks were picked up quickly and brought to the table quickly. If you have struggled through the extensive menu and were still at a loss, you were happy to help explain the individual dishes. The food was very good and everything was quickly at the table. I'll be back, and then maybe a step sharper, so the food 😉😁

Wow what a food!!!

Great ambience with oriental music in the background. Food was outstanding and you get a lot more for your money. Staff don't lose their smile even when stressed. I can 100% recommend it ... Yesterday was a nice evening. Thank you 🙏😁

Very tasty, quick and a lot. Whether for the lunch table or in the evening. It's always full. Still, the staff is nice and quick. The food is good and the portions and extras are sufficient. There is schnapps or espresso on the house. We recommend. Thank you Ganesha Team Bamberg !!

Very good Indian food! Nice ambience and very friendly staff :) The papadam with the three sauces came as a greeting from the house and at the end there was even mango brandy. Clear recommendation.

It's an amazing Indian restaurant with perfect service and especially all the waiters there. They feel charming when they have the guests. Super delicious food. The rating of 5 * is really absolutely fair. Prices are good. Large portion of food. The food is flavorful the staff very friendly. the ambience is very nice. There is even a winter garden and a small terrace. The children's dishes are also very tasty and really big. As a welcome there are three kinds of different sauces with a crispy bread and a salad. The starter for two is very tasty, but next time I would prefer samsosas or something similar. The lentil soup is super tasty too. Staff very attentive! Highly Recommended.

Excellent food, fantastic service and good value for money. We had the Palak Mutton and Kadai Paneer ... the mutton was Smokey and highly recommended.

Food was amazing. Staff was super friendly. The prices for this level of food were very reasonable. Ate way too much because it was just so good. Went in with high expectations, and they were exceeded. Sadly only visiting so won't be able to visit regularly.

It’s not easy to find good Indian food in Germany. We ordered for pick up right after they opened up. It was easy to order and very quick. It was a very warm welcome when we arrived. Very friendly staff! The food was just as we hoped, traditional good flavour, very tasty and fresh. Now we finally managed to eat at the restaurant and it’s a great atmosphere, beautifully decorated and a brilliant service. And their mango lassi is an absolute highlight ❤️!

The absolute hammer! This restaurant is definitely recommended because everything fits! Absolutely professional and friendly staff in a comfy atmosphere with a good choice of different food. You feel welcomed and treated as a dear guest from start to finish. Staff listenes to critique and passes it along, which tells me that communication and customer satisfaction are important to the workers. I'll visit this place again - and I am not a resident of Bamberg.

I was fortunate enough to have been travelling in India twice in my Life, for several weeks each time . I made it a point to stay clear of tourist traps, preferring restaurants, food stalls etc. frequented by everyday people . Even though "Indian cuisine" is varied to the xtreme ( kind of like Chinese ), there is a certain common measure of quality, and taste . What I have eaten from Ganesha so far, this is as authentic as it can get really . Staff is ofc. very friendly, too .

I come from London and have eaten loads of Indian food in my life and I must say, what we ate on Thursday was up with the best. Good choice of food on the menu. Good value for money and very friendly, quick service. Only downside is tasteless Kulmbacher beer and Indian beer only in baby bottles, not the 660ml we got in London and India but we were there for the food so 10 out of 10.
